Abundant attractions and story for the fans, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'

[MHN Seoul] The series 'Pirates of the Caribbean', which has been loved for 15 years, is back with the 5th story as 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'. With Johnny Depp, who played a big role in 'Jack Sparrow', Orlando Bloom returns as 'Will Turner', and Paul McCartney, a member of the Beatles makes a surprise appearance.

'Jack Sparrow' gets help from a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy, 'Henry Turner'(Brenton Thwaites), who joined the pirate to find his father, 'Walter Turner'. They set sail on the ship, 'Dying Gull' for The Trident of Poseidon which can remove curses, and they forge an uneasy alliance 'Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario)', a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, who has been misunderstood as a witch. While Jack Sparrow was being chased by 'Captain Salazar(Javier Bardem)', he meets 'Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush)' and finally becomes able to get the trapped ship, Black Pearl, out of the cursed bottle.

One of the vewing points of this film is Jack Sparrow escaping from any situation by a down-on-his-luck and also the CG that depicts the young Jack Sparrow having a deadly charm with all kinds of wacky and witty gestures. Giving 'the Captain Salazar' the slip at the Devil's Triangle, the young Jack Sparrow is still shrewd and waggish.

Since the setting for the film, 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' is the sea, the visual arts look beautiful and splendid just like the previous series. The ghost ship 'Silent Mary' was once a magnificent warship of about 164ft sailed by the Captain Salazar, the sea slaughter, but it is now remained the frame and stuck in Devil's Triangle. Soon as 'Silent Mary' with a statue of the same name on its prow gets out of there, the deadly ghosts sailors led by captain Salazar bend on killing every pirate at the sea, notably Jack Sparrow. The ghost ship attacking pirate ships is quite a thing to see as well as the zombie birds and ghost sharks. Their jumping over the sea is thrilling and intense as the sea monster 'Kraken'. Furthermore, the sea dividing on both sides when Poseidon's trident is found is also spectacular.

The movie story connects all the previous series like pieces of a puzzle and amuses the fans to raise some awarness. Also, new facts revealed create sad and touching scene. A fly in the ointment is, however, the terrifying Captain Salazar talks too much unlike the title of the film 'Dead Men Tell No Tales'. 'Dead men tell no tales' was a common pirate phrase, meaning 'once someone is dead, they can no longer communicate.'

Six years after its predecessor 'Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, 2011', the film 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' was released in Korea on the 24th and will be in cinemas on the 26th in North America. Rated: PG-13; Genre: Action/Adventure
