Financial management service provider WebCash Corp. is expanding its services with the launch of an artificial intelligence-based financial assistant service.
The company announced the launch of its AI assistant, AICFO, at a press conference in Seoul on Thursday. AICFO, short for AI Chief Financial Officer, is a solution designed for corporate CFOs that collects real-time financial data to monitor cash flow and uses AI to forecast as well as analyze financial trends. AICFO also provides real-time monitoring of various financial activities such as deposits, withdrawals, savings, foreign exchange transactions, and loans. Its key feature is the ability to generate AI-driven answers tailored to corporate cash management, helping C-level executives make informed decisions by predicting year-end cash flow, for example.
Users can ask AICFO about current cash status in a search tab, and the AI will analyze various transactions alongside a comprehensive financial overview. It can also provide detailed transaction histories by bank when asked about specific account activity. Previously, staff had to manually calculate available funds using financial management programs or enterprise resource planning (ERP) services but AICFO simplifies this process.
The service also strengthens fraud prevention by sending alerts to executives in the event of suspicious transactions, such as large expenditures, off-hours transactions, or the opening of new accounts.
WebCash sees AICFO, which was developed over three years by integrating AI with its financial management expertise, as the company‘s future growth engine. AICFO is offered as a software-as-a-service solution, with companies subscribing on a monthly basis. The company is targeting 100 billion won ($73 million) in monthly revenue.
