Samsung launches AI-powered Galaxy Tab S10 series in Korea

Samsung Electronics Co. launched its premium AI-powered tablet, the Galaxy Tab S10 series, in South Korea, on Friday.

According to the company on Thursday, the new series skips the standard model with a smaller screen. Instead, it focuses on two large-screen variants – the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, which features a 14.6-inch display, and the Galaxy Tab S10+, with a 12.4-inch screen.

Both models are available in two color options, Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver.

The Galaxy Tab S10 series is packed with advanced AI capabilities.

Among the standout features is Samsung’s new Galaxy AI, optimized for larger screens, as well as SmartThings 3D Map View.

The tablet comes equipped with Note Assist, which allows users to summarize handwritten notes using the S Pen.

It also recognizes messy handwriting and supports PDF overlay translation, making it easier to translate multilingual documents.

Another highlight of the series is the “sketch-to-image” feature, which refines sketches into detailed images.

Samsung Electronics has also partnered with Google to introduce “circle-to-search,” enabling users to circle an image and instantly search for it online.

The series comes in both Wi-Fi and 5G models, with the S Pen included as a standard accessory.

Pricing for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra ranges from 1.59 million won ($1,192) to 2.4 million won while the S10+ is priced between 1.24 million won and 1.63 million won, depending on the specifications.

Both models are powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300+ processor and feature Samsung’s Dynamic AMOLED 2X display technology.

The Galaxy Tab S10 devices are available for purchase through Samsung’s website, online marketplaces, and Samsung stores across the country.

As part of a special promotion, customers who buy the new tablet before November 30 can trade in their old tablets and receive compensation of up to 1.23 million won.
