South Korea’s household and personal care product maker Aekyung Industrial Co. has joined hands with a Finland-based natural ingredients maker to launch a new toothpaste brand.
Aekyung Industrial said Tuesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Fingredient to use special ingredients developed by the Finland-based company for its new toothpaste products. Fingredient is well known for its natural cosmetics ingredients including one containing procyanidin known as an antioxidant.
The Korean company with a 60 year-long business history in the household and personal care product market has been preparing to launch a new brand for teeth and oral care products.
Aekyung Industrial expects the latest partnership will help it ramp up its oral care product lineup, said a company official.
