Korea’s largest auto aftermarket expo to kick off next month

South Korea’s largest auto tuning parts and accessories fair Seoul Auto Salon 2018 showcasing 150 names from home and abroad will kick off next month in Seoul, according to the organizers.

The organizers said about 900 booths will be installed by the participating companies on a space of 18,358 square meters at Coex for this year’s show running from July 19 to 22. This is the country’s biggest auto aftermarket expo where visitors can check the latest auto tuning trend and have hands-on experiences of vehicle customization with various auto tuning parts, car care products, auto electronics and exterior and interior accessories.

On the list of the participants are local electric vehicle maker LJ Motors, auto battery and wheel manufacturer Hyundai Sungwoo Group and aluminum wheel maker Hands Corporation. Foreign car audio maker European Mobile Media Association (EMMA) will also take part.

For this year’s expo, auto tuning shops are planning to unveil customized cars equipped with their tuning products together with various auto accessories, care goods and other products. The expo also consists of various sessions including seminars and lectures.

Seoul Auto Salon, the annual show launched 2003, is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and managed by the Korea Auto Tuning Industry Association, the Korea Automobile Tuning Multipurpose Organization and Seoulmesse Industrial Ltd.
