South Korea’s largest automaker Hyundai Motor Co. said on Wednesday that it will take part in a 24-hour car race at Nurburgring, an infamously long and challenging driving track in Nurburg, Germany, to test drive the efficiency of its new high-performance N brand that will make its debut in the second half of this year.

According to the company, four engineers from its Namyang Research and Development Center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi province will participate in the upcoming ADAC Zurich 24-hour Race as pilots to test the performance of its N brand in harsh driving conditions. The annual event taking place from May 27 to 28 this year awards a winner with the longest mileage in a limited 24 hour period. The 25-kilometer-long Nurburgring circuit is dubbed as “Green Hell” because it offers grueling driving conditions to drivers with its narrow track sections and sharp curves. Only 50 to 60 percent of participants finish the race in general.
