An elderly father was determined to track the counterfeiters of his money but in a police investigation, the criminal mastermind turned out to be his 38-year-old daughter.
A police investigation was launched Wednesday in Gunsan, a port city some 175 kilometers southwest of Seoul, after an elderly man reported fake bills kept in his wallet.
His daughter, short of money, was found to have stolen money from her father's wallet and replaced them with photocopied bills, police said, adding they would seek an arrest warrant for the woman.
