Actor Kim Woo-bin made his first official public appearance in 2 years and 6 months, with his attendance at the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards.
The 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards was held at Paradise City in Incheon on Thursday.
“I was able to greet you with healthier condition as many people cheered and prayed for me to over the disease,” Kim said.
“I would like take this wonderful and precious event called the Blue Dragon Film Awards as an opportunity to say hello to all of you who have supported me. It’s been a long time, and there are many things to say. But I’ll do what I have to do,” he added.
The actor was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma in 2017.
Meanwhile, the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards was hosted by Kim Hye-soo and Yoo Yeon-seok.
