Lotte Global Logistics has officially opened an automated fulfillment center in Denton, Texas, in partnership with iHerb, the largest health supplement platform in the United States, marking a milestone in its global logistics expansion strategy.
The new Denton Fulfillment Center is the first case in which a Korean logistics company has fully deployed advanced automation technologies in the North American market, directly replicating its domestic logistics systems overseas. The move is seen as a signal that Lotte Global Logistics is accelerating its push to expand its global logistics footprint.
The company said Thursday that it held an opening ceremony for the Denton Fulfillment Center on Wednesday in Denton, Texas. The event was attended by Kang Byoung-ku, chief executive officer of Lotte Global Logistics, and Zach Thomann, chief operating officer of iHerb, among others.
