Megan, a member of the multinational six-member girl group KATSEYE produced by Hybe, sparked attention by coming out as bisexual during a recent live broadcast on social media. She is the second group member to publicly identify as LGBTQ, following Lara’s announcement in March that she is gay.
During a live broadcast on the fan platform Weverse on June 6, Megan told fans, “Everyone, I want to come out. I’m bisexual.” Her statement quickly drew supportive responses from fans worldwide, with comments such as “We love you” and “We’re proud of you.”
KATSEYE has been gaining international recognition with their latest single Gnarly, released in April, which entered both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Official Singles Top 100 charts.
