(MHNSPORTS Heewon Kim reporter) BTS-RM, JIMIN, V, and JUNGKOOK are enlisting as active-duty soldiers in the army.
On the 5th, the agency Big Hit Music provided follow-up information regarding the military enlistment of members (RM, JIMIN, V, JUNGKOOK) who are about to fulfill their military service obligations through the fan communication community platform Weverse.
According to this, "RM, JIMIN, V, JUNGKOOK will enlist as active-duty soldiers in the Army to fulfill their military service obligations. RM and V will enlist in accordance with their respective procedures, and JIMIN and JUNGKOOK will enlist together."
In addition, it stated, "There will be no separate official event on the day of entry into the boot camp, and we ask fans to refrain from visiting the entrance ceremony to prevent safety accidents." They added, "We ask for your support and constant love until RM, JIMIN, V, JUNGKOOK return healthy after serving in the military."
Previously, on the 29th of last month, there were rumors that RM and V would enlist together at a training center somewhere in the rear, on December 11th, while JIMIN and JUNGKOOK would enlist together at a frontline recruit training center on December 12th, the next day.
In response to this rumor, the agency, Big Hit Music did not deny this, only stating that it could not confirm the facts.
Excluding the four members, Jin enlisted on December 13 last year and has already completed one year, J-Hope enlisted in the army on April 18, and Suga has been serving as a social worker since September 22.
