SK telecom Co. and Shinhan Card Co. have teamed up to strengthen their cyber-financial crime prevention solutions through the integration of advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
SK telecom announced on Wednesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Shinhan Card to jointly enhance AI-based systems for preventing financial crime. The partnership aims to leverage the AI technology and security capabilities of both companies to improve their financial crime prevention infrastructure.
As part of the collaboration, the companies plan to combine Shinhan Card’s Fraud Detection System (FDS), which identifies suspicious activity in electronic financial transactions, with SK Telecom’s Fraud Detection AI for Mobile Network Operator (MNO) & Enterprise. This integration is designed to provide customers with a safer and more secure transaction environment.
