(OSAKA, Japan, Mar. 24, 2020 AsiaNet=연합뉴스) The National Museum of Art, Osaka (NMAO) has announced its exhibition schedule of 2020, including exhibits of the "Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London."

The NMAO is a museum dedicated to contemporary art from around the world with a collection of about 8,000 works, among the largest in Japan. The Collection Exhibition, which is changed four times a year, showcases the finest selections from this wide range of collected works. Combining masters like Alberto Giacometti, Pablo Picasso, and Paul Cezanne with artists who have defined contemporary art history like Wolfgang Tillmans, Gerhard Richter, Jiro Takamatsu, and Yayoi Kusama, this is an exhibition space where there is always something new to discover.

The first large-scale solo exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Danh Vo (b. 1975) at a Japanese museum
- Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London (July 7-October 18)
This large-scale exhibition of the gallery's collection will comprise a total of 61 works. World-renowned masterpieces by artists such as Vermeer, Rembrandt, and Van Gogh will be shown in Japan for the first time.
- Museum Laboratory: The Intersection of the Senses (tentative title) (November 7-December 25)
An introduction to Japanese artists who treat the exhibition space like a laboratory and pursue experimental methods of expression
Audio guides (fee required) provide explanations in English, Chinese, and Korean.
